For a long block assembly, you're looking at about 15 hours of labor time.

Is the engine new/rebuilt? If so, that's an outstanding deal. Especially with the 3 year warranty.

If that's for a long block, then you're looking at a pretty fair price.

I just had to buy an engine too. I paid around the same.I ended up paying about $200 for all the new gasket and fluids too I found a company that re-engineered the heads to allow for better oil circulation. I wish you all the luck.

I haven't gotten it yet. I ordered it this past Tuesday and they said it would take about 8 days to get here, so it should be here thhos week someime. I plan on taking pictures the whole way too. I figure everybody on here has helped me so much, I will do what I can to help ya'll too. And pictures help ALOT!! The company I am getting mine from is called Barnett Engines. I did some research and they have a pretty good reputation.
