Default AAC Does it Again "Dads Ram Style"

So with a lot of help from Johnathon at AAC we ordered our one of a kind, First ever, AAC Full Halos for a 05 Dodge Ram Daytona.

My Son "SCHIMBO" did all the install and work for me.

Mods are as follows.
AAC Frull Halos
Black Grill
Custom Painted Halos
Custom Painted Headlight Housing
AAC Flush Switch

Heres my Step by Step Install.

First Remove the Headlight by using a Star Bit, There are 3 total. 2 on the side nearest the engine then one under the light on the outside side.

Then place your headlight in the Oven on the center rack. Put the heat at 215 and set the timer for 12 minutes. When the timer goes off grab your oven mitts and take it out. Use a Flat Head screw Driver to pry apart the lens from the black housing. Carefull not to get an glue inside the light. once it is separated then you can start the install.

First Test fit the Halos and mark where the wires need to go through the housing. Then drill a small hole and feed the wires. Using th 3M tape on the back of the halos to adhere them to the light.

Once you have them on then its back into the oven for the same time and heat. once you take them back out you need to clamp the light. make sure its fully snapped back together with the tabs and the corners are tight.

Finally reinstall them in the truck and run the wires and BOOM . Time to turn heads.

Now for the Customizing part. I had the Housing painted black and the Halos painted Go ManGo. Once the Halos are painted you must get the paint off the leds. Some people reccomend wet sand paper but in fear of dulling the LEDS i used my finger nail and went one by one. They came out perfect. But it takes FOREVER.

Very nice! I was wondering if you'd installed the fogs, and those are some great shots next to the daytona charger
