Smile Performance Suggestions

I am a touch lost on Performance for my 4.7. I was told that i can get a sts univeral turbo also i was told some hemi mods work to is any of this true. (FYI im looking for low in compression hints turbo not supercharger but open to all suggestions).

Well yeh if yah want a big bang for your buck STS is pretty much where its at. They run about $5600 with tunning and new injectors, thats also if you want an intercooler. There base model kits run about $4000. And with your situation having a 4.7 ur kinda limited as far as performance options. Idk about hemi engine specific products fitting the 4.7 either that doesn't sound right to me at all. STS all the way im looking at getting a kit down the road.

There are also some great tuners available out there as well. Diablosport makes some great units along with Superchips.

Remember though, applying systems like this will void the warranty on you vehicle, just FYI.

IMO a supercharger is a better choice for a truck since it will give you more low rpm torque without any lag.

im not looking for speeding down the roads like a mad man or beat ass at the local track i just want some spare power in the ass in when i come off the line

Most DYNO runs with sts units, show little to no turbo lag at all. The boost kicks in right when you need it. On the dyno runs ive seen full boost kick in around 1800 rpms which is pretty good.
