I was not a fan of the stock Goodyears at all, I changed them out at about 3,000 miles. I bought the Cooper Zeon LTZs and have been happy ever since. The Zeons perform much better in every category compared to my Wranglers. I don't see that much snow here, but the Zeons did the job for me last winter

Most people only tend to complain about the Wrangler's lol, but hopefully someone here let theirs see winter and can give ya' some feedback.

My wrangler hp's did pretty well this past winter in NC, we had a good bit of snow this past year and for any one that has never seen nc winters the snow is wet and ice mixed so it's slick. the tread didn't dig as deep in to the snow as I would like, but they did the job well and I had no problems. Also a note is the snow never really fell out of the tread but like I said they did well.

Another thing to keep in mind with any tire, 75% is the driver only 25% is the tire when it comes to driving in bad weather. I learned that growing up and I can prove it, I went through a winter a few years back with a 96 2x4 dodge with almost bold tires and didn't miss a beat so as long as a driver listens to there vehicle and feels for where they are going any tire is good.

I've used all-season tires for many years. This will be my first winter with the Wranglers. Trust me when I say that if I'm not happy with them, they will be history real quick.

Are they history yet? They really suck on my 2009. No traction at all unless you are in 4WD and when you need to stop, they just slide like a big fat surfboard. I also have a 1999 with B.F. Goodrich All-Terrain T/A's and they are ten times better for traction and stopping in snow / ice. I would imagine your winters are much like ours here in Minnesota.

Not a problem yet and I have driven in snow covered farmers fields, up an alley in Cresent Heights 2nd ave n.e (out front the street is barricaded due to steepness-permanently).
