I was wondering about the chance of sagging myself. I put Trail FX bars on mine but didn't notice for some silly reason that there wasn't any support in the middle. I did do the same of putting my full weight on it, 240, and it didn't sag or anything but still just wondering if I should look into doing something to add some middle support.

Congrats on the bars. I put Black Westin e-series on mine and are happy with them.

Looks good!

I bought the 6" oval ones from the same company. I've had em on for about 4 months and they are still really strong. No sagging or creaking.

My instructions were backward too. They said use the front brackets for the rear and vice versa. After I figured that out it took about an hour for me too.

Thanks everyone. I live on a dirt road now, and the bars have developed a click when I step on the driver side ones. A little torque on the bolt and it goes away for a while. Then comes back.

My husband is thinking about installing running boards or nerf bars. Do they stick out far enough from the cab to be able to put your feet on? I have read on other sites that the don't work very well. I'm very short and need them to get in and out of the truck easier. Please give me thoughts on what would work best. We have a Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab
