I don't see the reason in spending all that money on the long tube ARH's...I have the magnaflow y pipe and new 409 stainless mandrel bent piping and intend on getting the JBA Ceramic titanium shorty's.
The set up with this looks very very similar to the ARH long tubes only the JBA's are a lot less.
So unless I missed something here why would I not go this route?
Curious to opinions on this before I make my header purchase.
Also I have to deal with New York emission laws and don't know if these long tubes would be ok for that.

Post pics of both headers (I'm not familiar with them). Also, just an FYI you can probably get away with long tubes on the superchips, we've never had issues doing so on other vehicles (even though they say not to).

Here are the Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers with High Flow Cats by American Racing:

If anyone has an image of any JBA Headers for the 09-11 Dodge Ram's, feel free to post because I do not show that they even make them for those years.

What do you mean you don't show them for those years? Where have you been? They came out last year. Try a google search. I bought my silver ceramics for $525 shipped.

1961S are the stainless steel
1961S-2JS are the silver ceramic
1961-2JT are the titanium ceramic

They came out July last year,
I've had mine for on almost a month now, (Silver Ceramic Coated, $555)
Did a buddy's install on his 10' QC 4x4 too, Titanium Coated , same price. and a decent bang for the buck for sure.

Dyno tuning isn't necessary, specially for short tubes, But our CMR tuner still managed to get an extra 5HP/TQ with minor fuel/spark adjustments right on our Trinity's, 3 runs plus a tune tweak was only $150 ea.
He could probably get more with LT's, He said to get them without cats if I ever upgrade and he could delete the rear o2 sensors to run it a little leaner for higher peak HP.

+15HP, + 25TQ.

Add a Magnaflow Y pipe for another 5 HP and you are getting pretty close to LT performance ( on a stock motor)

They exist, just no way to properly tune them so that is going to throw a Check Engine Light.

^doesn't the spark plug non fouler spacer trick work for the rear O2's to eliminate engine lights? Still would run a little lean without a tune but would be stronger than stock.
