Default headers

okay so i just received my headers today, but im ify on installing them, i know that i have to spray my bolts down for 2 days, than let my truck run for 10 min than i can start taking my manifolds off, any suggestions the way i should go with it or any problems i would encounter instaling them, its a 2000 dodge ram 1500 with shorty headers

I would see how they do first . They may be ok . If they feel like their gonna give you a fit then I'd spray them .

Did you do this yet? just wondering how it turned out. I would like to get headers for my 00 as well. The manifolds are starting to leak and I'm sick of listening to that damn ticking! Do they just bolt on and connect to the rest of the exhaust to where you can just remove the manifolds and bolt these right on without replacing anything else? I'm new at a lot of the engine stuff..

Ya, the shorty headers are a direct replacement, you'll probaly want to get new exhaust gaskets though.

I did mine on my 99 in seriously like 20 min. I just pulled in the garage popped the hood and swapped them. Its pretty easy as long as the bolts dont give ya much grief!

sorry guys, i havent been able to get onto mycomputer, but yes there on! i will have pics tomorrow, the only thing that stinks is that one bolt broke :/ and it is legit stuck in there, but im running grade 8 bolts now, and there sealed properly and bolt right up to the stock y pipe, deff worth the investment, better power and flow
