Default System in a 2nd gen... lets see em?

I just picked up a 97 extra cab and was hoping to put a system in it... but from the looks of it, I am not sure its going to be possible just yet.

I want to put a single 10" sub under the rear seat, need 1.25 cubes of space for a ported fosgate P3 (actually, slightly more to compensate for the port and speaker volume).

I have a set of components for the doors...

and two Elemental Designs Nine.2 amps.

I am going to glass the bottom and back of the sub enclosure, with an MDF top and front, I should be able to get the air-space I need there without a problem.

the problem is... where do I put my amps? they wont fit under the front seats, they hit the seat adjusters on the passenger side. (I can fit 1 under the drivers seat, need a location for the 2nd amp)

Where are you all putting your amps?

what have you done for your systems?

thanks!
-Ryan

Hey Wermbang is that a 10" or 12" you have? I have a 12 in that same type of box and I have it behind my seat but really want to move it to the middle there and just not sure if it will fit. Thanks!

Never even seen it before... I would have gotten one of those instead of going through the hassle of glassing my own enclosure, that thing looks great and adds cupholders back there for my kids!

Exactly what I was thinking. I just came across it so I'm not sure if it is newer or what. Pretty cool idea though. Fits 1 12" sub that faces down. I might get one next month so I will let you know and get some pics up if I get it.

yeah, if you do, PLEASE let me know... I am finishing up my install but I am not happy with how it all turned out... adding something like that would allow me to fix the parts I don't like about the current install (mainly amp placement)

What is the setup you are installing now and how come you don't like how it is coming out?

They have this box for like $240 or so...I think I saw one on ebay for $250 with a Rockford Fosgate 12" Prime Sub.
