Post dealer closed down

i bought my truck from mcdonuagh in east Brunswick NJ. i found out today when i called to get a normal oil change done that they shut down as of 3:30. Supposedly they went bankrupt. My question is my warrenty i got the one that gives you a loaner car. How do i go about switching the warrenty to a new dealer or does it automatically and would i have the same thing with a loaner car or was that just my dealer and now im out of money.

From what I understand is you have a warranty with Ram. That would mean you can go to any dealer out there and get what you need. I never thought the warranty work was only limited to one place. If I am wrong someone please correct me

Warranty work under the OEM warranty can be done by any Dodge Dealer. Read your warranty and understand what your rights and obligations are as well as Dodge's obligations.

Good luck getting the loaner car covered, i`m betting you`re out the cash on that deal. Other than that, you`re covered.
I`ve found, if you treat a dealership with loyalty and respect, they would most likely give you a loaner at no charge if you needed it. My dealer does do that for me, and they better, i`ve spent ALOTTA money dealing with them over the course of many many years. Always be nice, and respectful, it will get you alot farther... then if it dont, find another dealership. May be many miles away, but a good dealership is very hard to find these days. I personally drive 100+ miles back and forth to get to my dealer, and i have just one guy that ever touch`s my vehicles, its very well worth it to me. The tech at my dealership always has me come out into the shop to hang out while he works on my vehicles. Always asks me questions about my vehicles and how everything is workin out. He always advize`s me, never up-sell`s anything to me. To me, thats fuggin PRICELESS...!!!!!! I tip my tech (Ernie) very well for his very professional work and service, and i always drive out there occasionally to drop off coffee and donuts for the tech`s, wash guys and service & parts department crew. Really good bunch of guys and i enjoy going to see them. I bring my own mobil 1 oil and mopar oil filter, and they never ever charge me to change my oil. Overall, ther will be good and bad everwhere, just be respectful, and i would bet everything will work out just fine for you.

If you find/locate another dealer that is willing to pick up the loaner car agreement you previously had with your other dealer,
GET IT IN WRITING....!!!!!!! Verbal agreement`s dont meen shit...! Some dealers may do it for free just to get your business.
Dealerships really cant afford to let a new customer get away, so use this to "YOUR" advantage...!!!

I guess the question really would be, is loaner car program part of a service contract? Even if it was sold by the dealer, there is a good chance it is a Chrysler Service Contract which will be honored by all Chrysler Dealers... BUT you need to check your paperwork. And it never hurts to swing by another dealer and check, or call/email Chrysler directly with your question.
