That is the way all recalls are supposed to be sent out to the present owner, I still get cards for recalls on cars and trucks I don't own. This is an actual safety recall, second one for the same thing there was one for this when I first got the truck. I called the day before I installed the Lockpick...you think they will care if they see a LockPick installed or would it behoove me to remove it or at least move it out of the way and the way I installed my coastal tech mic also is giving me problems anyway so I will have to figure some way of relocating it.
Has anyone got this recall done and did they have to just do a software update or some parts changes?

The only way anyone will likely car about your mods being installed is if there is something in the way.

I have the center console and for them to get into the HVAC they are gonna have to take of the dash cover and well right there is the Lock pick plugged in I guess I could move it out of the way.

I did mine update yesterday... they had to replace the lower actuators (behind the cup holders on my SLT) and they reprogrammed the header.

Also had them check my Sirius radio.. found that the antenna was loose and Sirius has a new update out... My sirius is much faster and better now. Doesn't cut out under bridges as often and the song/radio info displays faster... As them to check this while you are there...

got my notice yesterday, and I'm bringing the truck in this morning. I'm hoping it doesn't take that long... the notice said it'd take about 30 mins to "check" but "up to an additional 4 hrs" if something had to be replaced...

we will see how long it takes
