Completed two days ago - took two trips to dealer - first to inspect, second to install actuator and door parts, then reflash HVAC and calibrate mode doors. They did not mention the Lockpick 3.0 that I also have sitting under the RER radio I put in along with a DTV tuner, aftermarket mic, and backup camera running through the Lockpick. All that stuff works fine even after they did their work behind the dash.

Of course, I never noticed an issue with my HAVC system (manual three-knob old-school controls) but I am glad to have it done anyway...

Yo, I live in New England and I'm wondering if there are any blogs about putting a snow plow on a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 with a HEMI motor?

REETS Welcome to RamforumZ

the 1/2 ton Rams will plow snow, just not as good as the 3/4 ton, 4X4 is better then 2X4

if you have the chrome clad wheels, the salt will eat them up

you should google PLOWSITE & ask your questions about working with snow

Got the HVAC recall taken care in April 2011 and at the time the system was working good. Now (7 months later and out of warranty), the air would only blow out of the foot vents, and a thumping noise was present on/off behind the center console. ?Took it in and they charged me $200 to replace the A/C and Heater actuator. I thought this would have been covered by the recall. Can anyone suggest what I could do next.

Just had an issue with this. Didnt even know about it till I searched for the actuator part number to replace it today. My blend mode door actuator is what failed today.

Its been REALLY hot here lately so I had to pull the door actuator off and leave it off as it was locking the air to feet only and it wont cool the car off for atleast 20 minutes (not good with a new baby). Hopefully the dealership wont give me hassle that its off.

I have the same problem now and my warranty is expired as well. The first time they replaced only the solenoid that is under the dash and visible from the passenger side floorboard. I should've had the others replaced, but I didn't see the point. I guess I'll end up paying the $200 also.

Call Chrysler customer service, explain the problem, and ask them if they can help.
