Default How many hunters do we have here? (pics)

Hello again everyone! I was wondering how many people here are avid hunters. I myself am obsessed, are you obsessed? Do you just hunt occasionally? Have you always wanted to go hunting? What do you enjoy hunting?

Feel free to post whatever you want. It could be stories, pictures, experiences, or your thoughts on hunting. I am just interested in how many Z's hunt.

I myself enjoy hunting almost anything. My favorite is deer hunting and duck hunting. That is what I mostly hunt, but if I get invited to hunt anything I'll quickly accept.
Here is a list of everything I can think of that I have hunted.
1)Whitetail Deer
2)Mule Deer
3)Duck
4)Dove
5)Alligator
6)Pheasant
7)Hogs
8)Coyote
9)Turkey
There are a few more, but I am not going to share those with you.

Here are a few pictures of me hunting over the years.
If you feel uneasy about seeing blood I would not look at some of these pictures.

Opening day of teal season (2010)

My first buck I ever shot(7 point in 2008)

My first wood duck

Cleaning my friends 8 point

Messing around in the camp

I have many more pictures on my desktop so I may update this thread with more pictures. Hope y'all enjoyed the pictures and I hope too see some of yours or hear your input. Thanks, Dillon.

Cool thread idea man and I'm sure you'll get some good responses and pics from others here! I'd love to go myself, just never really have the opportunity. Where do y'all usually go around this area?

This is the first year I might be able to go. Just got my hunter safety course done and bought the hunting license. Now I just need the time to go. Was supposed to go to North Dakota for pheasant in october, but I don't have enough time off. So it may just end up being deer season here in Iowa.

I usually do my duck hunting in the wildlife management area in the pearl river marshes. I also duck hunt in Delacroix a lot. I don't deer hunt in Louisiana that much, but when I do it is at my friends farm in Amite. I have a hunting camp in Selmer Tennessee, and that's where I've shot the majority of my deer.

That's awesome man! Pheasant is a pretty easy hunt, well I feel like it is compared to other things. And Iowa has some amazing whitetail. You should be able to harvest yourself a beautiful buck up there. Good luck whenever you get the chance to go.

Great pics man, I've been hunting since I was 13. Yes, I am obsessed too. Deer season is my favorite time of year. I've got some pics on my desktop, I'll post a couple up later tonight.

I don't hunt any more myself, my brother & my nephew go whenever they can, their tv room looks more like a taxidermy than a place to watch tv. There is always venison in his home.
When i was still working for ranchers in California's Imperial Valley, at cotton picking time almost everyone driving a cotton picker carried a shotgun for all the flushed pheasants

I've never hunted anything that can't shoot back but I'm not against it by any means. I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you eat/use what you kill. It's the idiots that kill something just for the sake of killing and leave it where it lays that I have a problem with.

I have had the same experience - I've hunted and in some cases, what I was hunting shot back at me. But I did do a lot of deer, elk, antelope, upland bird hunting over the years.

I don't go anymore...I lost my hunting partner (my father) a few years ago and it just doesn't appeal to me without him being with me on the hunt.
