Default Tires,How Big without rubbing? 17" 2005 2500

Tried searching didn't find much...

Getting to be time to replace the 265/70/17's

How big can you go on a stock 2500 without rubbing?

Thanks

285's and maybe a 305 would work. Those would be just a bit wider.

I bet you could go with a 75 tire as well, just a bit taller than stock.

Will be spending much time in the snow so I think taller without being wider is the better way to go.

Thanks

Depends a lot on what tread pattern you will be going with as well.

LOL...I hear ya there. I went with a tall hwy tread because we don't get that much snow. I've driven in what snow we get here on these style tires and they do just fine.

I also don't go off-road that much and when I do, it's not so extreme that I need big monster mud and snow traction tires. Most of my driving is on the highway.
