Default 2010 Stereo Question

Is it normal for the volume to adjust when slowing down @ a stop light ? This is my 8th Mopar and I have never had this happen until I bought this truck 2 weeks ago..

When stopping at a light the volume will decrease... But once you start back to normal road speeds it will increase..

My Cadillacs radio had a feature called AVC-Automatic Volume Control, it would measure outside noise and increase or decrease volume automatically.

My Ram doesnt have this feature, but I have the lowly RES radio unit. Your radio may differ.

What radio do you have in your truck? If you dont know, look on the lower right hand side of the radio face and there will be a 3 letter code.

Humm, i searched the RER radio user manual and the Ram owners manual, but see nothing about automatic volume control.

I think a call to your service dept. is in order.

My ram does this as well, figured it was just a feature with the truck. My 07 cobalt had this as a feature but it could be turned off

Yea, same with my old Cadillac. But if its bothering him, he should call and ask about it.

Maybe some other RER radio owners can chime in as well.

I haven't notice that and I have the top radio, I know GM has had that in cars forever.
