Default Volant CAI question? Plus other mods added

Ok I just did added a few mods on my truck. Added 4" Nerf bars, drop in bed liner, Super 40 muffler (just muffler replaced and removed resonators), and added a Volant CAI...

Ill post pictures later... got to dark and I got too lazy.

Anyways, questions for those who installed the CAI

1. Was it hard to put the Air box into the mount pegs?
2. does the box line up with the fender vent port?
3. and does the breather an issue? the horse from the crankcase to the intake tube has to be bent in order to connect it to the tube. Thinking about cutting it but not sure yet.

Does the breather really needs good air flow, does it affects power?

#1 - It took a bit of muscling but it wasn't extremely difficult.
#2 - My box doesn't line up completely right with the fender. There's a 3/8" gap along one edge. Nothing that a little more weatherstripping/gasketing wouldn't fix.
#3 - the kit should come with a replacement breather hose and no other bending/adjustment was necessary in my case (that I can remember).

Are you having trouble or just doing your homework before getting started?
