You guys have some pretty sensative butt-dyno's if you can feel a gain 1-4 HP!!!

Per K + N:

The K&N FilterCharger® air filter is designed to achieve high, virtually unrestricted air flow while maintaining filtration levels critical to ensure long engine life. Our automotive OE (original equipment) replacement air filters generally add 1-4 horsepower.

Guess I need to get my Butt-dyno recalibrated! =)

I'm not saying that I can really feel those extra couple of horses in pull, it's just a different feel for the better as more noise up front and the stock exhaust sounds better. Not bad for an $80 investment.

Maybe the air boxes between the model years are less restrictive . I wasn't impressed with my drop in purchase .

I'm from Canada and had to order from US and pay shipping which I feel was fair. Perhaps I could have found one cheaper locally however for me it was easier to just order it. Much cheaper than an entire CAI setup.

I just put a K&N drop in filter in mine, i did notice a difference, if you saw the old dirty filter you could understand why. I made the change at 30,000 miles.
