I just had my trailer brake added on Tuesday dealer didn't say anything about accepting liability and they charged me a 1/2 hr labor 55.00 with tax

Never been a firm believer in break ins, if anybody happend to test drive your truck before you bought it, rest assured it's been redlined. When I was test drivin my salesmen was with me telling me to floor it lol.

Has 2000km on it and I've gotten into it a handful of times and it runs perfect

I have 1600 on the clock now and just redlined it the other day. I would have done it earlier but we were doing a bunch of highway cruising so It was kind of hard to do. Once that truck hits 3k Rpm it's really scooting. From a stop it got to 85 mph with no trouble.

I saw 500 in the manual, so I went that long before going over 3500 rpm. At about 800, I broke the tires loose for the first time. It is running great. If you saw my other post, I hauled a quad last weekend and got almost 20 mpg.

I really believe the more you go WOT the better an engine runs... This is my 4th new vehicle, the first one I babied and had problems with, the second was a lease and I beat it to death and it loved it, 3rd was the same, a lease that I raped and she loved every second of it, now that I have this truck and I bought it, I am guilty of babying a little bit, but was going WOT here and there with only about 150 miles on it.

Now the Ram has about 1500 miles and I have it opened up when ever I can.

I just checked in my manual and it says a long break in is not required and to just drive moderately for the first 300 miles. It also says it is good for break in if you go wot from time to time while cruising. I have 360 miles on it and after reading that I gave it a good kick in the ass a few times today. I'll hold off on any more ass kicking for a few hundred more miles and then let her rip.
