With as many posts as you have right now, you'd have to get yourself to 75 posts or become a site supporter to post in the For Sale/Trade/Want To Buy area.

When you say trade into an 8' bed, do you mean sell/trade in your truck for one with an 8' bed? Just curious.

Originally I was looking for an 8' bed too, but then when I looked at the crew cab and quad cab with the 8' bed, it was one looooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg truck. lol I decided the short bed would work better for my living environment which requires a lot of parking lot maneuvering and small streets.

As well as what Maddog and RootBeer have stated, with ANY manufacturer, I found the 8 ft bed bounces uncontrollably when going over anything other than the street. Pushed me away from an 8ft bed. Just my .02 cents. Best of luck! Keep us posted, curious to see what you end up with!

Default need 8' bed for business

The reason i am considering moving to an 8' bed is because i am a contractor and quite often need to haul more. I do like the 6' bed in the city when it comes to parking and such. I am going to think this one over just because i like the one i have. Think i got every option avalible in 2000.
