Default air pressure?

how much air psi are you running in the tires on your trucks? I just got some procomp extreme mt's 35 x 12.5 x 20 and am not sure what to run them at.

It depends, i run mine at 40 PSI, 8 ply tire, usually on the 1500's the plac says 35, but that is also with a passenger tire!

They are load range E, 6 ply tires. Says 65 psi max on the side wall. I bought them used with 95% tread left on them, they are mounted on a nice set of chrome eagle alloy rims. 2 tires have 55psi and the other 2 are at 65. i never ran 35" tires before so I would like more info of were to run them psi wise. Even 55psi seems high to me but I dont want to run them underinflated. Thanks

A load range E tire will be a 10ply tire, Load range D 8 ply and Load range C 6 ply! so you have 10 ply tires not 6, as for pressure that is pretty high especially if your running empty all the time, will give a harsher ride! Being your running a 1500, i would say 35 all the way around would not be a problem, if your start towing, or hauling heavy loads then i would increase the pressure

I pretty much agree with Ruffian. Just keep an eye on your wear pattern and adjust pressures accordingly.

I have 36-38psi in my BFG All-Terrain KOs. They are 33" high not sure about the ply though. My psi was at 43 in the rear but I saw the wear on the outside a bit and brought it down. I saw the wear when I drove into my buddies shop and it was clean with some dust. You could see the way it was wearing. I think anywhere between 35-40psi should be alright

I'm bringing this thread to life again lol. I just put larger tires on my tuck, 285/70/17. They are BFG AT's and it says inflate to 65 psi, should i still run between 35-40 or closer to 65? I know on my Jeep Wrangler I always ran 5 psi lower than what they called for.
