looks great man...845 is amazing stuff..and so is its DIFFICULT to work with cousin 476!

datrep; it is actually pretty readily available at places like advanced auto parts.

hit their website and it will show you where to buy.

a tip to applying 845 thin, is to put it in a misting spray bottle...a spray per panel is all you need...unless you want to do a second coat AFTER doing the entire truck first!

This thread is 3 years old, haha. Can't say I've found a wax that I like better yet.

I could care less, I hope that anyone who uses any product out there finds the best way to use that product and lets everyone know. The more methods the better.

Very easy, the bottle of 845 should be put in a bowl of hot water for about 5 minutes, and occasionally shaken. It will turn very thin. It doesn't have miscellaneous dyes and fragrances so it smells chemical-like and is a dull color. It applies like petroleum jelly at first and a little goes a long ways. I find it best to prime an applicator with 845 [so there are no dry spots, but it's not saturated]. Then I can just add a little 845 to the pad to get even coverage. As with all Collinite, don't let it dry. 845 and 476 can "haze" but that doesn't mean dry. I would apply to one panel at a time, and once it passes the swipe test [you use your towel to remove a small area of wax, and the surface is completely clean of wax, no oils left over, haze, etc], quickly buff the wax off.

Thank you! I have a few recent ones. They have a concoction of products though, mostly 845/476 with Optimum Car Wax/Instant Detailer as a topper when the weather was appropriate through spring.

Overdone dynamic range haha

You can see the sheeting and beading ability in this clip though, I used a few other product recently to test, but non work like this [this is 845].
