Default Which lift kit for 2011 Ram 1500 Sport?

I dont see any available lift kits for the 1500, only the 2500...I have yet to purchase the truck so if I want to do a 6 inch suspension lift, should I be looking at a 2500? I wont be towing much, lift is just for looks and it will be a daily driver...just want to make sure the truck is liftable before I purchase it...

Patience, grasshoppa! Since all the auto manufacturers change model years within a few months of eachother, it takes the aftermarket companies a while to verify that their kit works on the new model.

Figure out what style of lift you want (suspension or body). Contact the manufacturers of those kits and see what they have in the works. Sometimes you can score a free kit by offering your truck as their test vehicle.

There are all kinds of lifts for the 1500's.I have the BDS 6" on my 2010 1500.It is a 6" lift with 1" preload spacers which lifted my truck 2 more inches. So it is an 8" lift all together.

BigHorn, Truck looks great. Was there any issue putting the tint on front headlights? I just got my windows done at a well known shop in Philly, and he said he can do the Tail lights no problem, but the little bump out on the headlights, which allows you to see the turn signal from the front of truck would be a problem. Its the only part of the head light that is not perfectly smooth. Its almost like a long triangle sticking off lens.

Thanks bro .I am painting my fender flares next months too ..

On the lamin-x tint it will bubble up on top and on the bottom of that piece on the heads. The guy that did mine told me he has gotten a lot better at it on the new ram heads so he wants to redo mine.I will let him do them again and after i will tell you how it came out.

Thanks, that would be great. I looked at the Lamin-x website and I saw they sell pre cut pieces, and rolls of the film. Me and my buddy E. Davis who also just joined the forum are planning on buying a roll and doing it ourselves but I def can use any pointers. So feel free to PM me after you get them redone. Thanks again, Nice to meet you.
