Default Gun ownership poll TAKES 2 SECONDS

They are hoping you won't remember
when you vote in November.

Obama's new Attorney General, Eric Holder , has already said this is one of his major issues. He does not believe the 2nd Amendment gives individuals the right to bear arms. This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with Today. It will only take a few seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know. Hopefully these results will be published later this month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court's accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to bear arms.

Here's what you need to do:

First - vote on this one.

Second - launch it to other folks and have THEM vote - then we will see if the results get published.

The Question is:

"Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?"

copy and paste the link below and vote Yes!

I Googled this. First, the poll did/does exist, it is from Feb 2010. Holder did say it and has been shot down on it at every turn.

Here's a link to the Google results. http://www.google.com/search?hl=&q=H...US368&ie=UTF-8

IMO, it was mainly intended to form and keep an armed militia but since there's nothing specifically saying that a law abiding citizen can't own firearms for sport or self defense, I believe we DO have the right to keep and bear arms as individuals. I've owned several and currently keep one for self defense purposes.

Should there be limits on what types of firearms and how many each individual can have? I'd say yes to this because the average person doesn't need a SAW, Pig, or Ma Deuce for home defense. I have a 9mm loaded with Hornaday hollow points. I chose this caliber and load because the walls are thin in my house and the neighbors are very close and I wouldn't want something like a .357 magnum round missing an intruder and penetrating someone elses house and causing an injury or death.

I also believe that any law abaidng person without a criminal record should be allowed to carry either openly or concealed. I wonder what would happen to the violent crame rates then?

Hell yeas we have the right to bear arms! Take 'em away from the good guys and criminals will take advantage of all. I just recently bought a Ruger Mini-14 .223 (6 Months ago) and a Remington 700 SPS .308 (Last week). I exercise my right to own firearms as often as possible. What am I supposed to hunt mule deer and wild hogs with? A sling shot?

I used to think the same: "not everybody NEEDS an assault weapon" like the one's randy suggested. That's true from a practical use standpoint. BUT....once 'limitations' are imposed, (The camel's nose under the tent) the 'noose' will be tightened at every turn.
I have no desire (or the funds) to own serious iron like that...let alone keep it stocked with plenty of ammo.
'A well armed militia". Isn't that a cool phrase? I would like to think that EACH and EVERY American is part of this. Or at least understand why it 'works'. And our fearless (sarcasm) leaders in DC should never, ever forget it either.
Keep vigilant!
Bob

I will just say this....

If our government imposes stipulations and/or taxations on weapons, I will either be in jail, broke, or both..

I'd like to see the slingshot that can take down a mule deer!
