I've heard that it is an apple problem, the newer Ipods have a different pinout on the connector and will not charge. My 1st gen Itouch works great and charges with no problem.

Anyone know if it will charge an iPhone 4?

Have been looking at picking one up but want to make sure it will charge in the truck.

Also to the OP, let us know if you take it to the dealer and what they say.

First Post!! We have had a similar problem. It seems for us that the ipod charges when the truck is on but the Ipod stays on after you shut the truck off and the next time you get in... dead Ipod

I started a thread on this a while back. I went through this when I first got my truck. The newer iPods have a different voltage conversion. Most of the cables that came with the trucks would only charge older iPods. If u have one try it and it will charge. As far as iPod touches and newer you have to contact you dealer and they now have new cables that will charge newer iPods. The dealer got me mine for 25.00 bucks. I have heArd some guys getting them from free.
