Nah, I brought it up while I was there. No manager there at the time though, so no one with authority to do anything about it.

I know exactly what happened. Those indentions are from the bar used to pry the bead over the rim when dismounting the old tires. I'm betting all 4 wheels have a similar mark on them.

^^^^ I Agree 100% ^^^^.

Just curious, how did you not notice this damage before you drove off ? Just me but I would have inspected them before leaving, I know hindsight is 20/20 just saying...

See above... I guess I should have made it clearer in the original post that I noticed it before leaving, lol.

No he said he did, so he should be fine then unless they are complete dicks about it.

man the tire shop really messed up
they must have had a rookie do it & he should have stopped when he screwed up the first rim
you don't need a crystal ball to see a pink slip in his future

they can't be repaired, besides the machine could have put excess pressure on the actual aluminum wheel under the plastic chrome cladding

That's good news, you should not have any problems if the company values it's reputation. Just threaten to go public with this if they refuse. I wish you luck and have my fingers crossed for you.

See, you'd think they'd let the rookies do the Corollas with 150k miles on them, not vehicles with less than 5k.

Thanks. We'll see. There's really no gray area, I don't see how they could give me a hard time. The only thing I could have done to make it even clearer that they damaged them is bring my own legal inspection document and have someone there inspect the rims before they do it and sign the paper, heh.
