Default Garage Door Programming

I followed the instructions to program the home link in the 2011 ram but can't get it to work. I believe my garge door has rolling codes so I followed the instructions pushing the relearn button on my opener. Any suggestions?

I had to back my truck up pretty close but it did take a few times to do it.

All I had to do was hold the opener in my lap... press the opener button and then hold the button to learn the code..... shouldnt have to be in the garage, just near your opener while its depressed. Hold it untill it learns it...I think i had to re-do it twice becuase i was impatient and let it go to soon....

Actually, with rolling code you have to follow the normal steps (clear prior settings, then hold remote 2-4" below home link) and THEN push the learn button on the actual opener in your garage until it flashes, then run to your truck (you have 30 seconds) and push the same homelink button twice in a row (some cars need to have it pushed three times). That should work.

Don't forget to push the button on the back of the garage door motor then rush back to your truck and push the button you are trying to program.

Mine worked the first time, just pay attention to your EVIC display it tells ya what's going on.

HUM!!!!

So I still need to hold my remote buttons down, then go push the button on the opener, then go back to the truck and push the button?????

I only followed the instructions for a door with a rolling code. Just basically push the button on the garage opener and push the button in the truck...

1. Clear all the buttons on the truck.
2. Go push the button on the back of the motor.
3. Push the button on the truck you want to learn. Along with the remote button.
