I have the Diablo and really like it. I have it matched up with a CAI, Ported Throttlebody, Headers and Flowmaster Super 40's. I think you will find people like which ever one they have because most of us don't buy 2 of them and compare them side by side.

i personally dont have one but now am interested in this thread. i have read that the diablosport is better because you can customize it to what you want even without completey modding the cams and stuff. I really havent seen much about the superchips, only a couple ppl have one compared to mostly DSPs here. I know you will get a lot more input on this subject from ppl who own one or the other.

Looks to me the Predator is the way to go. Thanks for those who actually gave me some useful input!

I have a ‘07 Ram with the Hemi motor. I have used the Diablo Predator and the Superchips tuners. I felt like the Superchips tuner had far superior transmission tuning when compared to the Diablo. However I felt the engine tuning was much better in the Diablo, more tuning options and can be custom tuned if you install a cam or any other major upgrade. Things I liked about the Superchips were the economy tune and the tow tune. The Diablo does not have either of these tunes, Diablo has 87, 91 and a 93 octane tunes which can be adjusted to fit your taste. I got the Diablo just in case I want to do a cam in the future but the Superchips would work great if you have no plans to do a cam. I really like both tuners so it’s more a matter of what you’re going to do in the future and what you’ve done. Last time I checked the Diablo Predator was $295 on RDP’s website. Hope this helps.

That is the best post yet. Thanks and great information. I am only looking for power so that is why I am leaning toward the Diablo.

Can you get a custom dyno tune set up with the Diablo? The reason I ask is because you can always get more power with a dyno tune rather than a canned 87 or 91 octane tune. I would like to get my truck dyno tuned and then have the ability to return to stock with the hand held programmer.
