Default leveling by rear drop..

Whats up guys, Im wanting to level my truck out by dropping the rear maybe 2 or 3 inches just whatever levels it. To do this I am going to need drop coils, new bump stops, shocks, and is there anything else I will need to do so? Also if you guys know of any websites with good quality but cheap prices on this stuff let me know so im not breaking the bank on this project lol.

Thanks,
- Scott

Im sure you can get rear shackles for your truck. They come in different drops. Mcgaugheys, Belltech, for a few manufacturers

I think I will go with a 2/4 drop kit. Just since I would do it anyways when I get new wheels might as well do it now right lol. Does anyone have pictures of an 09-10 with the 2/4 on stock wheels?

4G's have coils all around, shackles only work for leaf sprung 2G/3G Rams

I installed a Ground Force 2/3 kit on my 4x4, sits almost perfect now,
4 new progressive coils and new rear shocks/bumpstops. relocate swaybar links.

Before/After

The ride is SO much better than stock, specially after swapping on some 305/50R20 Terra Grapplers.

These shots are right after install so the springs haven't quite settled in yet.

another before and immediately after I rolled her off the lift at the shop

The Ground Force 2/3 kit doesn't level the truck out though does it? I think the truck is still 1" lower in the front. Ground force does have a 2" rear lowering kit to level the truck out but its only available for the 2wd std cab...I'm really hoping that they're going to come out with the same 2" rear drop kit for the 4wd q/c. I don't really want to drop the truck any further.

I have installed the ground force 9984 "Crew/Quad cab 4x4" in my 2010 sport and the front drops 1.75 inches and the rear about 3.5 inches, It looks level with about a 0.25 rake. I love the kit and would reccomend it to anyone interested in lowering a 4x4 ram.

I emailed GF asking for any updates on the 4th gen rear leveling/lower kits for qc and cc trucks. I'll post up the results. In the mean time another member here (can't remember who) posted a link for Otto-Max. They already have a 4th gen qc/cc rear leveling kit available.
