Default MyGig, BT, and backup camera retrofit question

New to the forum and about to buy a 2010 TRX....it has the base radio package and want to upgrade to mygig non-NAV (don't care about SAT radio), along with uconnect and a backup camera if not too expensive.

Have read the forums and it looks like these will all fit but I want to make sure....

And I am confused about whether backup camera will work with the RBZ radio...

Mygig

Uconnect

Backup Camera / unlock

Can anyone confirm that backup camera will work with non-NAV (RBZ radio that is linked)?
Ad that these three parts are all I need for mygig, uconnect, and backup camera?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! I'm sorry but I haven't tried a backup camera on that type radio so I'm not going to be much help here. Hopefully one of our audio/video gurus will chime in here soon.

Sorry, not any help with your question, but I have one of my own.

What does (if anything) the lockpick do to ones warrenty? You would figure adding an aftermarket device that alters the electronics in the truck Chrysler wouldnt be to happy about....

I would be taking out my RER radio with lockpick 3.0 and putting the RES back in if I had to go to dealer for anything doing with the radio or its electronics... I think they are supposed to call you on warranty issues if what you did directly caused other things to fail. Having a top-end radio that you installed along with a lockpick would not seem to be an issue if your rear-end were to fail while under warranty...

Welcome to the Z. I have the RBZ with backup camera, works great.

We have a lot of forums for all kinds of topics, so you shouldn't have any problems finding a place to post questions.

We LOVE pics of Rams.

Here's how to post them: http://www.ramforumz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=73

Did yours come from factory with the camera or did you add it afterwards? I have a 2010 with RBZ. Can I just add the backup camera kit?

the camera & a different tailgate handle are part of the camera kit, the camera is mounted within the handle, camera & tailgate LOCK are both in the handle.
whether it comes from the dealership or anywhere else, the price is close to the same, the image on Amazon is the same thing that you get from the dealership
