Hey xopt1js I guess there is no other Auto 4x4 trucks on here so far with lifts. If you want to get a lift that will work you can get any thing but a leveling kit. Leveling kits just crank up the front without correcting the angles. I had the Bilstein 5100s on my truck before my 6" lift. That leveling kit put my CV shafts on a bad angle. With the 6" lift I have now the CV shafts are on a pretty good angle where it does not cause the vibration.

If the CV shafts are on too much of an angle you will experience the vibration when it kicks into 4x4. The only way to correct it when you lift it is when you drop the front diff. The lift kits come with a new subframe which drops down the front dif which in turn corrects the CV shafts angle. I would suggest looking into a full lift kit to avoid any problems.

When we meet on Saturday maybe we can look at some stuff. I will also let you know where my shop is and you can get some prices for lift kits since they deal with most companies. I'm always ready to help out a fellow Ram owner!

Hey Big Horn we have the same rims! hahaha. I havn't seen a pic of your truck yet, it looks sweet man!!

That was prior to Biltstein HDs up front and Spring Assist Monroes on the back (thus having an extra incho or two in the back). From ground to floor is 27" and from the lower bumper step to the ground is 28".

Not to call you out on your own setup...... But that rubber looks more like the Trail Grapplers than the Mud grapplers?

Very nice truck. I am actually hoping to get those tires (Trail Grapplers) in that exact size on the stock rims once my leveling kit comes in.

It absolutely is. That's what I get for toggling between two windows while I'm typing.

Thanks for the compliments. I've had to look at going the more inventive way simply because I'm trying to keep the lifetime warranty.

Hopefully 4.56 gears are in the near future....shorty headers would also be niiiice. Alas there are none for an 08....

well you can go to www.rancho.com to look up some specifics , and i orderd mine from www.4wheelparts.com , i was acutally just looking at a similiar post you wrote about trying to do an 8 inch lift by adding a spacer.

pretty much exactly what im doing , the ready lift replace the shock inside the coil and utlizes the same coil spring , so i figured its a bit better then just putting in a spacer under my exsisting coilovers in the front but alot cheaper then getting new coil overs from someone like fabtech or procomp.
