Smile Two lube and oil questions!

Is there still such a thing as a lube service on a 2010 ram? A friend said they don't have zerks. I want to go back to changing my own oil and the only reason I would take it to a business is I have no idea about the lube... oil is easy. I was going to change my own oil and take it in for a lube...????

So now that I am back in the oil changing mode, I realize I have bought oil that is now 5 or 6 years old still in the case. WON'T BE GOING IN THE RAM! (mobile 1...yes, wally world)

Question is, can I use it it the kids 03 black hoe, honda, etc?? Hope so, already did, but got more!!!

Just remember if you have the Hemi the oil is 5w-20. I don't think there are any grease zerks but I have not been under my Ram to look.

My 2010 ram tells me to lube the front drive shaft but there are no zerk fittings on the front shaft. still trying to figure out how thats supposed to work, maybe put the greese gun right next to the front U-joint and it works off osmosis. Also because I have a 5.7l in a 2500 the owners manual says to run 5w-30, not 5w-20.

The only lube mentioned in the Dodge 2010 Ram Truck Owners Manual is for the 2500/3500 4x4 models only. The text reads "Lube the front drive shaft fitting (2500/3500 (4x4) models only). It's required every 6,000 miles (10,000 km). From reading this the 1500's don't require this service.

Default Front driveline lubrication info not clear.

I'm still not sure about this issue of the front driveline getting lubed at the oil change intervals. The manual does not address this clearly... Where and exactly what is to be lubed? My guess is the splines. Being there are no zerks leads me to believe one needs to unbolt one end of the driveline and slide the thing far enough back to lube the splines with a lithium based grease.
