I haven't looked up under there yet, but just curious if anyone has tried it or if there is some reason it cannot be done.
Yes - That's one of the best places to grab ram air from! Flexible dryer hose should work great for getting it to the box. Be sure and post pics when you're finished!

I probably won't get around to this until the weather warms, but I will be sure to post pics when I am done.

As mentioned before with those grilles instead of the fogs that would be a perfect setup for this mod.

Did this mod make any difference in fuel economy?

I drove from san diego on I-15 north for about 120 miles which is not flat road - a lot
of up and down hills. Set the cruise at 70 ,reset the MPG readout and pulled 21.2 MPG
average over the 240 mile round trip. Didn't check it before these mods but that seems pretty good.

In city driving its only around 13 MPG as I cannot keep my foot out of it !
Every stop light becomes a possible drag race. The other day I was next to a border patrol agent in a Dodge Charger and was revving it to get his attention - he just laughed and waved me off. Probably would have arrested me anyway...

I went for it today. I picked up a 4" clip in drain. Black plastic. It is just the pipe and a narrow flange. I was not up for $50 for a hole saw so I used my dremel with a cylindrical cutting and shaping bit. It was not a perfect hole but it was good enough. Then I flattened out the ribs on the inside so the flange would sit flush. I also used a saber saw to cut out the plastic screen in the drain. Once fit I used plastic epoxy to mount the drain.
