Taking my 04 HEMI to an exhaust shop tomorrow to get performance muffler and duals out the back with tips. They've got several different brands of mufflers, and I'm not sure what I want to go with. I want an exhaust I can hear (such as a flowmaster 44), but I also want a muffler that flows well -- I plan to get a Volant CAI intake and I want to have lots of air flowing through the engine. I guess I'll ask them what they recommend.

Also got a superchips coming via UPS tomorrow. I'm pumped! If I get a chance, I'll post up a pic of my set-up and let you know how I like it.

This is my first time trying YouTube. I thought about Magnaflow, but I had one of those on my old Chevy 5.3 and it wasn't loud enough. I ended up going with the classic Flowmaster 40. It's LOUD, haha. The shop was about an hour from my house. When I first got on the road going home, I was cognizant of the muffler drone. However, after a few minutes I stopped noticing it. My eight-year-old and two-year-old were sitting in the back seat, and they weren't bothered at all.

It is loud though, so if any kind of drone in the cab would bother you you'd be better off with something else. The whole package, including the FM SI/DO and stainless steel tips, was $315. Is that a good price?

Congrats on the new mods man! Going with a great sounding exhaust really makes a difference. If you want a really loud sounding exhaust look at Gibson Super Truck Series exhaust. They have a great sound and the muffler flows really well since it is well designed.

I did a Flo Pro on this truck which is a Magnaflow knock off. I noticed I need it a little more quiet the older I get, but its plenty loud especially with the FIPK.
