The individual tire pressure thing in the 2010's would not happen with just an EVIC update. Other systems would have to be updated as well.
I prefer my self installed CCD infrared back up camera I installed myself and the one in the front when pulling up to objects up front .

Confirmed. You cannot upgrade your 2009 EVIC to the 2010 EVIC. I contacted one of the electrical wireless product engineers at work. Here is the email below.

I have a 2009MY Dodge Ram and I noticed for 2010 they have a new screen that shows the tire pressure for each tire instead of a low tire yellow light on my dash. I was wondering if there is a software upgrade I can get so I may have this new screen on my EVIC? Can this upgrade from 2009 software to 2010 software a possibility with using a starscan at CTC or can I travel to CPG?

Hi Chris.

Unfortunately the 2010 TPM system is not compatible with a 2009 MY TPM, the type of sensor modulation is different.
As far as upgrading the 2009 Base TPM (ISO symbol only) to a Premium system where the individual tires are localized your vehicle is missing the 3 trigger v module, plus the associated wiring.
sorry.
