Default 2010 Dodge Ram lift questions

Hey everyone,

I am new and now in the market for some kind of lift system to put onto my 2010 2wd dodge ram 1500 QC. From browsing around on the site, I have came up with 2 possible ways: (1st and most favorable) performance accessories 3" body lift and 2" leveling kit and (2nd) 7" CST 2wd lift. I know that these two differ some amount but i really like the look of the higher lifts alot more but I'm just not sure that i can afford it at the moment. So if y'all can, please post some pictures of either of these systems installed on yalls trucks, so i can get some ideas.

Also what is the biggest tire i can run, on stock 20's, with the 3" body lift and 2" leveling kit, preferably either toyo open country m/ts or nitto trail grapplers.

Thanks to anyone that can help!

I'd go with the 7" CST lift. Here are some pics of the CST kit installed:

I would go with the 7" CST if you have a 2wd truck. If you think about it the 4x4 trucks already sit higher then the 2wd trucks. So if you were driving a 4x4 the 5" lift would be like a 3" and the 7" like a 5". If you were to go with either one I think you will be able to fit 35" tires under there. I would recommend getting some aftermarket rims with a negative offset to bring the tires out away from the body.

Thanks everyone for the responses!

After reviewing all my options, (and looking at that blue ram with it installed) I have decided to go with the CST 7 inch lift. has anyone on here got one installed? Are they reliable? And on the ordering page it asks what rear lift height i would like 1 or 4? Could someone help me on this

Scat- Why would you recommend getting new wheels with negative offset? Would that make it so the wheels are more outside of the wheel wells?

You'll want to get the 4" rear lift. Negative offset will help prevent rubbing; yes, the wheels would stick out further.

If you don't get a negative offset your tires will rub.You would want at least a negative 12 offset on your rims.

Ive noiced that some have installed these lifts and use their factory wheels but used 1/4 wheel spacers and the 35 in tires fit.
