Turning off the traction control for me will give me a very small chirp. both my tires spin in the wet, i know that because it goes sideways when i floor it without traction control.

cant understand that.....but here............

i have a sport with 3.21's in it and it won't bark on dry pavement in first even with traction control off. but if im doing about 30 bump shift it down to first and take trac con off and floor it, it will bark the tires and take off like a rocket. i was also dissapointed myself to find out that i couldn't burn both tires.

Press and hold the esp button for five seconds or more at a stop and try it again.

What does holding the button for 5 second do? It's either off or on.

Not necessarily, you can't completely shut it off, but holding the esp button for 5 seconds or more at a stop disables it to a greater extent, it even states it in your owner's manual, for scenarios like if your stuck in mud or snow, this way the system won't try to take over when it detects wheel spin.

Here's another scenario to try while in 4wd, come to a stop and hold the esp button for 5 or more seconds, you should see "ESP and BAS" lite up on your evic display, along with a chime, you should see a short warning message on your evic stating the system is disabled , it will allow wheel spin to about 40 miles per hour. I'm sure this isn't new news.

It might be to those who haven't had this feature before.

I have that same system on my 300 SRT8 and I installed a No ESP switch so I can totally turn it off...and turn the car sideways if I so choose...LMAO
