Default Aftermarket headlights

Just checking out ebay and seen there are aftermarket halo projector headlights for the 09-10, I was wondering if anyone had purchased a set of these and were they brighter than the factory lights!! As we all know that the headlights in these trucks aren't one of their strong points!!

the lights on ebay in most experiences I have heard of have problems with the leds blowing and going out very easily. I had a set in my old grand cherokee and they lasted 5 months before the leds and such started going out and the company blamed it on my wiring when it was wired just as they told me to. So just ask the seller if they warranty fading or leds going out etc etc

You better go road test one at night time that has them installed first, you might not like them. I noticed the ones i drove with the projector headlights lost all side lighting.

Here`s my thoughts and scenerio with aftermarket headlight lighting....
take a garden hose without a nozzle and watch the water shoot straight out,
then put a spray nozzle on the same garden hose, now the water is spraying a wider fan pattern.... hence, showing and lighting up the sides of the road better

I think i would rather keep the stock headlight assmblies, and go with a brighter bulb.
Looking kool, isn`t always safer...! And your headlights shouldnt be faster than your truck can stop

....just my 2cents

Put brighter bulbs in, you wont be sorry, and WAY cheaper and safer
Aftermarket headlights are a HUGE hassle, you`ll be sorry

One thing to remember, if they aren't projector style headlights, you won't see any real improvement. Using projector style headlights with a good set of halogens (Sylvania Ultra Star come to mind) will improve the light pattern. Projector style with HID's will really make a difference.
