I am not an expert with body lifts, mainly because I dislike them(if it isn't combined with a suspension lift) I think the only real advantage you gain is more space for rubber. I am not sure, so wait and see what others have to say.

it's done all the time. Just like any other mod, make sure you get a high quality kit. Unless you install it yourself, make sure that you have someone do it that does body lifts often. Ask for customer pics.

Make sure you get the gap guards. Those are the urethane wheel well inserts that cover the gap in the frame.

ya, the gap gaurds are a must, most of the reason i always hated body lifts was because no one ever gets the filler and you can see the gap between fram and body.

Been googling trying to find some mega cabs with a 6in suspension and 3in body, but i have only found 2 pics and they really werent much help.

seems like alot of people have more negatives than positives to say about body lifts, but at this point its my only option i know of right now, aside from paying 3X as much for a 9-10in suspension

anybody got pics let me know where to find em, thanks guys

this might give you an idea. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3324639

It looks like he did not put in the rear gap guards. I don't know why people will skimp on $75 and not give their truck a finished look, but they do. It's why guys like Geaux Hunting say they look like crap. But if you do the job right they look good. It makes me wonder if there are a lot of body lifted trucks running around that nobody realizes they are body lifts because they look good. In other words, only the crappy ones get attention.

I had a performance accesories bl on my 02 Dakota (only b/c they dont make suspension lifts for it anymore :/ ) I did alot of research on body lifts and it seems like performance accessories is the only company that doesnt just throw the same pucks together for every truck each kit is totally different unlike other brands more generic lifts
