Default Another U connect problem

Has anyone else had problems with the U connect ie; when you answer the phone you can hear the caller but they can not hear you. I've tried to turn the mute off, tried to re-pair the phone and start the whole process over again, and I even tried to talk nice to the u connect----all to no avail---still can not hear the person calling me on the the phone. The 877 number for help with U connect is useless. Any ideas would be welcome.

Yup, it must be a Uconnect thing. What I have found is every time I get an incoming call I press the phone button and wait about 10 long secs before the caller responds. It's frustrating for both myself and the caller. If you do find out anything please let me know.

I push the Uconnect button & roll up the windows

It may be your settings

step 1) press MENU hard key
step 2) press System Setup soft key
step 3) press Feedback Settings soft key
step 4) set volume control at 50% minimum
step 5) test volume button,

mine is set to 65 or 70 percent, any higher & the navigation voice is irritating, sounds like someones mother-in-law off on a tear

That was the only way I found to get mine to work.

My phone isn't on the Uconnect list but meeets all of the Blue Tooth specifications. Sometimes it works, Most times it doesn't. Uconnect is no help and the dealer says the Uconnect is working properly.

I think our only hope is that someday they'll have a recall for the Uconnect.

If you have a verizon phone and have the Vcast funciton activated, it could be the problem. I had a nice long chat with Uconnect yesterday. Vcast interferes with bluetooth.

Wow.....I must be blessed.....mine has been virtually flawless. If I had a complaint, it would be that people have a habit calling right at the best part of a song, but I guess that's not U-connects fault. LOL

I have never had the issue you mention....a couple of minor dialing issues, but those can actually be attributed to the users (guess that's me) poorly organized, and over sized contact list.

FWIW - I have the RER (nav) head unit and an iPhone 3G 16Gb with the latest firmware. I make/receive about 12 phone calls a day on the U-connect...... I am very impressed with it.

When I bought my truck it didn't have Uconnect & I wanted it so the dealer installed for free. Not sure where the factory ones are, but I have a wee little receiver mounted on the overhead console. My phone hooks up no prob, my wife constantly complains it's echoing, I went thru the voice training twice, & most times when I use it & say for instance, "Call Tammy", it replies "calling 187(or some random 3 digit #), is this correct?" I say "no, CALL TAMMY"... It says "call 378, is this correct?" I then proceed to either lose it or stay mellow & just calmly turn my bluetooth off & use my phone instead... Love my Ram, but I will admit, I miss my OnStar...
