When I bought my Daytona used, the previous owner had taken the wing off. I was ok with it for a while then I saw another Daytona with it on and then: the search was on! I found an OEM wing on CraigsList and my truck RoCkS with the spoiler!! It's like asking if you should remove the decal ...?!?

I took mine off for two reasons. 1: It started looking alittle weathered and marked up and I plan on re-painting it and possibly installing some type of brake light in it sometime down the road. 2: It got in the way when I loaded stuff in the bed,, especially the 10 ft Jon boat. Word of advise though, if you're gonna take it off you'll want to get some bed caps to cover the holes.

Its not a Daytona without a wing.....Its just a truck with stickers....

I was tempted to take it off when driving it on vacations..Mi to FL 3x ...MI to Colorado springs etc. Over 80 it really flattens out, I was wondering how much it affects the MPG's? I know it catches the air back there....But I have seen some with it off and it didn't look right to me.

The good news is it just a couple bolts and cables. So you can try either way. As for me I like the distinctive look so mine stays until I need the bed space. Then returns when I am done.
