Default Front Axle Question

I have a '98 Dodge Ram 4x4 Sport 318 5 spd. I bought the truck new. It has a 9.25 Chrysler rear diff and a Dana 44 front, Geared 3.55.

I know from my original window sticker that is has the
"Axle- Anti Spin Differential"

I understand that to mean it has the posi or limited slip rear end. Is that correct? and is that front and rear or rear only? and if so what would the Dana 44 be?

Thanks!

It means limited slip. As for front and/or rear, don't know. Go find a mud hole and have someone watch you play. Should be pretty clear.

Limited slip will be in your rear axle only.

Do you know what the stock front Dana 44 would be Ramtech?

Rear axle limited slip only. Front axle D-44 will be an open differential.
