I've got the 3:21 gears and i feel like I've been screeeewed. If everone is telliing the truth the trucks with the lower gears are getting better milage than me. I'm lucky to get 13 in town by babying it. On the road the best I've seen is 20.5 on an 80 mile round trip through rather hilly country. Small hills.

With 3:21 gears your mileage should be best on the highway, where as in town not so much I think. Reasoning is it takes longer to get upto speed therefore using more gas if you are keeping up with say a truck with 3.92 gears (less power is needed to start from a stop), however the higher the speed the more efficient you become.

I have 3.9 gears and usually around town(stop and go) I average 15-16 mpg and on the highway, driving at 70 I usually get around 18 mpg. If you stick your foot in it as others have said it can go down pretty fast.

WRONG! Big Horn is only 20 inch wheels and couple extras.

How is everyone calculating mileage? Resetting the display and reading it for a minute or averaging over the entire tank?

Got my city average over a period of three days, the truck rarely made it up to 45 mph, my hwy average was done on a 200 mile round trip that was pretty much all interstate.
