Default Up, down, whatever

I just purchased a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit for the front of my truck. But I would be just as happy lowering the back to meet the front. Is this a big job with the leaf springs?

probably easier than installing the front spacers. you could get shackles or new springs for the back. you would also avoid having to get an alignment done.

If you want to drop the back, you simply replace the factory shackles with a set of 2" drop shackles, and done. Very simple and straight forward. Price for parts is about the same, but the rear level doesn't require an alignment. Both can be done in the driveway, then just roughly align the front and drive to a shop to get the computerized alignment.

Daryl
