Default Meguiar's Smooth Surface® Clay Kit

Ok, I usually don't do things like reviews but after just buying and using this kit I feel it's my duty to do so!

I'll keep this simple. This stuff works! I just went over The Kraken top to bottom with the clay and the quick detailer mist then went over her again with the quick wax. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it! It took everything off! Apparently I had a lot of tar along the bottom and this stuff took it off with minimal effort. I've never used anything that worked so easily and effectively! And I did all of this in less than 2 hours and that includes opening all of doors, the hood, the gas cap, etc., and wiping out the engine bay as well. I can't pick my arms up but my baby is shining!

Yup, those clay bar kits really are a must after the winter. I was amazed the first time I used one with how much crap was in my paint and I had no idea!

Great job, how long do you think it'll take for the arms to recover?

I need to get on mine. I used a spray wax last fall and it left white spots all over the truck. They weren't there for a week or so and slowly started appearing on all surfaces that weren't in my direct cleaning, just like overspray. I won't use that spray wax again (no names but it comes in an orange bottle.)

I did this last summer for the first time and it is amazing stuff. I couldn't believe my eyes at how much junk was stuck to the paint, even after washing. My arms, shoulders, and back hurt for a few days after to lol! As soon as the weather breaks here I am getting the clay bar kit out again.

Man, I need to add a clay bar in to my routine! It really brings out that deep color.

Well, I worked through the pain and did the interior with the Meguiar's Interior Wipes and Rain X'd the windshield the next day. I still have a huge knot on my back from all of this but the truck is still purdy so it was worth it! :-D
