Can you install OEM remote start on my truck or would it be cheaper to do an aftermarket remote start?? Let me know what ya'll think.. Thanks

I had the OEM installed on my truck. I don't remember how much it cost though. They gave me new keys too since the start button is on the key.

I paid about $225 to have the factory remote start added to my old truck, and that included replacement of the original key fobiks.

The OEM is great. If you have heated and cooled leather seats, your heater or cooler will come on automatically during a remote start.

i would go aftermarket because my opinion of the factory one is its a pice of shit im actually debating getting my factory one taken out and a aftermarket installed

I know this is kind of an older post but I too would like to know why you dont like it Platiunuminjected as I was thinking of adding it to mine.
