Default Sagging doors

Has anyone used a door hinge repair kit from any company like LMC?
I got one to use on my drivers side door and the pins didn't even come close to being the right diameter. they were to big and the bushings were also. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I've replaced pins and bushing with great success before, but I can't recall who made them.

I just did this to my truck. I was lucky, because the body is a 98. from 94-97, there is no kit out there for the pins. from 98+, there is a kit with 2 different pins. one for the hinge, and the shorter one for the indexed lever thinggy that keeps the door open. both pins come with bushings. they were a perfect fit. i got mine from NAPA. $13/hinge. These may work on the older hinges, but you may have to drill out the holes.

I have a 1997 and I ordered mine from federated auto parts, they were some no name brand for like 4 dollars since mopar doesn't make them for a 1997. I knew they were over sized so I took the truck to a body shop and the one was the right length but the other one was too short. So he used his own. It wasn't too bad for the body shop to do it, only $100 cash

http://www.jimsautoparts.com/mopar_p...erior.htm#door hinges

Most sagging doors are due to hinge failure which is due to pin or bushing failure. These hinge repair kits offer an easier and more cost effective way of repairing those hinges back in to working order. Each kit repairs one hinge and contains one zinc and yellow dichromate plated grade 8 bolt, two self-lubricating brass alloy bushings, one zinc plated spin lock nut and one zinc plated internal lock washer.

MP-20544 1994-2003 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 Pick Up $ 24.95/kit

Jims seem to carry a bunch of the older Ram parts, as well as the newer Ram parts, like the locking tail gate parts & some body parts for Rams

25.00 for a grade-8 bolt and 2 brass bushings? if my doors didnt sag like an old mans sack I would think that to be laughably expensive, but... they do, and 50.00 doesnt seem too bad, if I dont have to drill out my hinges
