hey everyone, i have a 1998 ram 1500 with the 5.9l 4x4 and when im stopped the idle some times is jumpy and the truck sounds like there's a lopy cam in it and the truck shakes not as if it would stall but more than normal. if anyone has an answer or a solution i would appreciate if you could let me know.
Also the tanny shifts pretty hard when driving normal or if im on the gas and accelerating quickly, im hoping it is not anything major. but the truck does have 197,000 miles on it and i want to keep it mechanically sound, so i can get another 100,000 miles out of her. i bought the truck with 190,000 miles so i have no record of what has been done to it except that the rear end was replace at some time as well as the fuel sending unit im guess that was only the fuel pump.
Once again thanks for any info,
