Post New to dodge, so I got a daytona

I just got this 2005 Dodge Ram Daytona. I love it. I'm looking to add some upgrades that will up the horsepower and hopefully fuel economy. Any advice to give me a good starting point would be helpful. It's good to be apart of the Ram world now.

Welcome to the Z. Start with the big 3, CAI, exhaust and tuner/programmer.

You may find this discussion on CAI's useful http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=59630

Exhaust, check out our exhaust forum.

Tuner/programmer, lot of folks like the Diablo. We have a forum dedicated to it as well.

Also, check out our supporting vendor forum. They sell a lot of what you may be looking for.

We have a lot of forums for all kinds of topics, so you shouldn't have any problems finding a place to post questions.

We LOVE pics of Rams.

Here's how to post them: http://www.ramforumz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=73

Welcome to the Z! AS for teh Daytons, it's supposed to come with the mopar CAI, and a borla exhaust, so you're set in those categories. A tuner (I prefer the DS Predator myself), electric fan, headers, lots of options, just have a look around and see what tickles your fancy.

I have never seen a daytona including mine that came with the Mopar CAI. The dealer has 3 others on the lot when I got mine and none had it.

I had the AFE stage 2 on mine for a while but switched to the mopar since the AFE wasn't CARB approved.
