Default Tires

Alright i know that this topic has probably come up a thousand times already but bear with me, i just bought a 5 inch lift for my ram and im still contemplating what tires to get. i want something that has a fairly aggressive tread but isn't a strictly mud tire. i was looking at the Dick Cepeck FC-2's but a friend told me not to get those bc they wear out fast. so any help on an off road tire would be great oh and im looking to get 35/12.50/R17 for a size

If you want to go with something like an A/T tire that would give you the best of both worlds. I have the MIckey Thompson ATZ tires and they are great. They are big and they look mean. There is also the BFG A/T KOs, Nitto Terra Grapplers and the Toyo Open Country tires.

Toyo open Country Mt's are aggressive but wear very well as long as you rotate and balance them regularly.

I actually had my mind set on some Toyo Open Country A/T's but when I checked the tire stores they all told me that Toyo isn't making them for some reason right now. I will probably go with the Terra Grapplers.

my vote, nitto trail grapplers. they are very aggressive looking but great on the road and offroad. they are an MT tire but were created to be in between a AT and MT. take a look at them!

the trail grapplers are awsome, im running 35x12.50 17s now and i love them. i dont play around in the mud just to do it but i do drive through fields to get to my tree stand and they pull great. havent had to lock it in 4 by go yet either. on the road they are actually pretty quiet for an aggressive tire but they do hum a little bit

absolutely i agree ^^^^ i just put 35x12.50x20s on and they are great, any tire with tread like ours is going to hum though but truely i thought they would be a lot louder than they are.
