You have 2 possibilities right off the top of my head. One your firewall is blocking access to the internet to update drivers. If you trust the disc and manufacturer then turn off your firewall and reinstall.
Two) Your antivirus or spyware is blocking the install. Again, if you trust this disc/manufacturer Turn off your antivirus and spyware and reinstall.
A lot of programs out there use authentication before installing. If it cant reach the internet to confirm the disc suthentication (not pirated) it will fail a install.
The other is the antivirus and spyware is working to well. Some programs install files that resemble viruses or trys to configure files that are flagged for key virus attacks and will stop installs if those files are attempting to change.
If this works and your install is complete, remember to turn your programs back on after you're done!
Hope this helps.
