Default Can i do this?

Any reason i cant run some 2-3" coil springs on my 01 Dodge 4x4 up front and throw some 285-75-16s under it? I saw the 285-75-16s on my truck with a stock suspension and i thought it looked horrible...or should i just stick with my 265-75-16s and stock suspension...dont got much $$$ to work with...

You talking about coil spacers? Yea, you can do that. Actually, I've seen some spring perch extension kits that will work just fine. I think they are from Rancho listed as a leveling kit.

I mean throwing the 2" coil spring that Skyjacker or Rough Country offers to level out the front of the truck so i can fit the 285's under it...

a 2" coil spring is pretty short. You mean a 2" extended length coil spring, I'm sure.

Its all in what you want out of your truck man. The leveling springs will give it a better level stance and those 285's should fit regardless. In my opinion bigger is always better. Lift it!

Anyone run the 3" rough country lift?

http://roughcountry.com/dodge_4wd_94-01_3.html

Is this a complete lift? Or will i be missing pieces that accommodate for the angle adjustments?

That 3" lift from Rouch Country should be a full lift kit. Really your raising the front 3" and the rear might stay stock or lift an inch. I would go with that kit since it is very inexpensive and you get a decent lift.

I agree with everyone, BIGGER IS BETTER!
